For some reason I thought you didn't like her? I loved her CD.

I was only able to catch the first 1/2 of the interview, but I did hear a couple of his new songs. "Don't Call It Love", was awesome. His CD will be out April 4th. NEW MUSIC!!! YIPEEEE!!!

Charlie,

Your turn.

I listened to that CD coming into work this morning. I love the songs she writes and she can sing, too.

As I recently admitted in another post somewhere, I'm musically challenged. Who are we talking about???

As for Bruce, I can't wait for the CD!! I'll be going to the CD release show in Bandera. And maybe the one in Houston, too. HA! OMG, I'm becoming a Robison family stalker. Maybe I should check out Robyn's schedule, too. LOL!

It's Miranda Lambert. I heard she's coming out with a new CD soon, too.

I actually found a transcript of the Bruce interview....

"So, you're a big sumumabitch"
"Yeah"
"How's the weather up there stretch? (laughter)
"Um, ok I guess"
"I bet you got a snow cap on your head. (laughter)
"No, not really"
"Big mother******"
"Whatever"
"Ha ha. Yeah. Watch your head. (laughter)
"Are we gonna talk about the album?"

Didn't Bruce host that GAC show that the Australian/New Zealand/can't understand her accent chic usually hosts?

Anybody else see the Bruce and Kelly commercial on during "My Name is Earl" last night? For some allergy medication... What a trip to see them!

OK, speaking of Bruce...

I also posted this on Bruce's board - and I know a lot of us are also over there, but for those who aren't ...

On Saturday night, I went to Greek Brothers (in El Campo, Texas) to see Bruce and Rodney Crowell. It was AWESOME!!!!

I must admit that the reason we went was solely because of Bruce. And he didn't disappoint! What a GREAT performance. And he hung out afterwards and signed autographs and chatted with the crowd (both at the merchandise table and just hanging around the bar). He's SO friendly and accommodating to his fans! A cool guy!

Anyway, like MM said somewhere, Rodney Crowell puts on a REALLY GREAT show!! I do have a few of his CDs (one of which I absolutely LOVE), but I'd never been to a show. And I'd definitely go again. FUN!

What a treat to see those two great singers/songwriters/performers in the same night.

Plus Rodney Crowell's guitar player (Will Kimbrough - although I may have spelled that wrong) played a few songs to open the show. Also quite good. And he's written some good stuff.

WHAT AN AWESOME NIGHT!!

Oooh, one more Bruce note - I saw the video for "Virginia" on CMT last night! Loved it, of course!
