I am sitting here in Kirkuk, Iraq right now listening to Charlie Live and missing my home state. I am from Texarkana. Just barely making it but making it nonetheless. I call Tennessee home right now but one day I will make Texas my home again. I will probably settle north of Dallas. Beautiful area and beautiful lakes. I fish a lot and I work on helicopters so it makes sense to live there. My kids are excited and my wife is finally coming around so things are going good. She is from Florida so naturally she wants to move back there. We are going to visit Texas this summer and I'm sure that will change her mind. Ok that is enough babbling from me.

Dude!!! Thanks for doin' what you do!

I'm in Austin, and today's a blustery, cloudy day. We've got a front moving through, but alas, no rain. There's been a pretty serious drought for a couple of months. This winter's been pretty mild - 70's mostly, but you know what they say about Texas... "If you don't like the weather, wait 15 minutes."

I don't know much about Texarkana, or North Texas, but I'll be happy to give you reports from Austin anytime you'd like a taste of Texas.

Thanks for postin', and welcome.

And ya'll thought I was just mean....

I'm in Fort Worth today for Charlie's show at BillyBob's. It's sunny and beautiful now.

Blustery....HA! Compared to 30 and 40 degrees back in Iowa, I'll take this.

Just as kgirl said..... Thank you for what you do.

Bummer, Iraq.............. stay safe.,

Hey, may I interrupt this love fest. Did anyone see ER last night. I missed the last couple of minutes when Abby was offering the $10 bet. What happened? Did James Wood take the bet or say enough is enough?

I don't watch ER, so I couldn't tell ya. But, men are bettin' fools so I'd venture to guess that he took it.

Yea, but your dog is gay, and I am very gay friendly.......

I will be leaving Chickago some day (after my dad is settled in his next life). Was always thinking FLA, but Texas is becoming more interesting. It would have to be Austin. Love the liberal scene.
Also in love with Rollergirls.......have you seen that on A & E? I wish I could skate and was 20 years younger, but I will settle for being a rabid fan...those girls know how to party.

Sorry dude, the "ER episode guide" says nothing about the bet. I'm curious to know if anyone else thinks that Adam and Jamie get it on after the cameras stop rolling on Mythbusters.

I know, I have been all over the net trying to find out......
I find them mythbuster people somewhat odd, but I do watch. Not sure about the nooky.

After checking out Dallas and Fort Worth.....I think I could move here!

Iowa isn't bad. I can take the cold - I just laugh at all you people in warm climates bitchin' about the "chilly" 50 - 60 degree weather.
