I was checking the tour schedule today, and had I seen this date earlier I might have driven to Chicago to see tonight's show. Charlie and Jack for $10? I'd have to spend $300 on gasoline to get there, but it would be worth it.

I haven't seen Charlie live since FanFair back in 2000. I've been hoping to see him coming somewhere close to New York, but it just hasn't happened yet. There are a lot of country music fans here, but its what I call "Country Pop" (sometimes adding an extra 'o'), and I know that Charlie is over most of their heads. But hey, we had Nickel Creek here a couple weeks ago, so why not Charlie and Jack??

Somebody give me some hope that I'll get to hear "Tonight" live sometime soon. Lie to me if you must!

Ahhhhh phentermine.... uhh, nevermind.

I live in Western NY and I've been a CR fan for about 6 years. Like Charlie, I play guitar, drink beer, and don't care too much about who I piss off. Of course, I'm to a lesser degree than Charlie on all three points I pretty much quit listening to country radio a few years ago, and I'm so glad I did. Its given me the chance to explore the alt country scene, or Americana or whatever they're calling it now. Aside from Charlie, my favorite artists are Radney Foster, Dwight Yoakam, Chely Wright, Pat Green, and of course, Jack Ingram (Song For Amy - love that one).

I look forward to talking to some Charlie fans, and hopefully putting a bug in someone's ear that can get some tour dates scheduled near my Yankee butt.
