Saw it over the weekend.

A brilliant piece of movie making. You simply walk out of the theater after it goes to black at the end and it's just the weirdest feeling...it's really hard to explain...a kind of numbness. No one, I repeat, no one said anything as they exited the theater.

Director Paul Greengrass is to be commended. No politics. No Hollywood excess. Every decision Greengrass made in making United 93 was right on the mark.

I can't handle serious movies anymore. Airplane! is more my speed.

This sounds exactly how I felt when I saw the Passion of Christ.

I don't know that I'm quite ready to see this one.

I plan to go see it. I'm glad to hear it was handled in an even-handed way.

The same thing that post reminded me of. After Passion the theatre was very quiet.

My kid and I were trying to decide between this movie and Hoot (the Buffett kid's movie) this weekend. I am not a huge movie goer so we played golf instead. United 93 and Hoot will probably be the only ones I go see this summer, but I will see those two.
